Upcoming Events Rush Ice Cream Mixer with LTA Sorority DSI Information Session Poker and Hookah Night	___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ August 30, 2010 What is Rush? Rush is a period for anyone interested in Delta Sigma Iota to meet the brothers of the fraternity. We hold a variety of rush events in hopes of providing you with an opportunity to get to know us better and learn more about the fraternity. There is absolutely no obligation in rushing and all events are free of charge. Why DSI? We are not your typical fraternity. We pride ourselves in following our three pillars: service, education, and unity. Our brothers are highly motivated and self-driven. We value the knowledge and skills we learn in college. We embrace and understand our culture and heritage. We seek to make a difference in the world today as we prepare ourselves to become the leaders of tomorrow.  How Many Events Should I Attend? Technically, anyone interested in receiving a bid must attend at least one info session, one mandatory, Cobra Night, and an interview. But keep in mind that this is also a chance for you to get to know us better, so try to attend as many events as you can. This will also increase your chances of receiving a bid. April 17, 2010 The Annual Relay for Life was a major success. Everyone had a great night and a lot of the alumni came out to support the cause. We raised a lot of money by selling a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches, lemonade and pineapples. April 11, 2010 DSI's Gamma Chapter did a great job hosting Convocation. Lots of guys came out and everyone had a great time. A special congrats goes out to the guys of NCSU for putting so much work in and making sure everything ran smoothly. February 1, 2010 DSI will be hosting VPD (Virsa Punjab Da) February 27, at the Carolina Theatre. Come out to see some amazing Bhangra from all the best teams. All profits are donated to Nishkam Seva, a charity that helps orphans and widows living in India. For the next couple weeks Delta Sigma Iota will be having lots of fun events including flag football and poker night. Come on out and enjoy the start of school with some of our brothers! January 14, 2010 Todays Blood Drive was a success. Thank you everyone that came out and donated. A total of 56 pints was collected today! This will help a lot of people. Keep checking our website for more blood drives coming up. January 10, 2010 This past fall six outstanding individuals, Shehab Imam, David Crawford, Hemant Desai, Santosh 'Kiran' Beyagudem, Milan Patel, and Karan Koyani became a part of Delta Sigma Iota. Welcome to the family boys! November 23, 2009 We would also like to thank everyone who came out to the South Asian Awareness Week.
