Why DSI?

Mahatma Gandhi teachings have influenced me throughout my life. I greatly admire his infinite strength and patience during India’s struggle for independence.  I myself endorse his belief in spreading the truth.  A fraternity that incorporates his beliefs and uses them as building pillars does not require any further explanation. In other words, Delta Sigma Iota defies the image of being the stereotype fraternity. I joined DSI to help spread Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings, promote South Asian culture, give back to the community and most importantly, stand out in the crowd of 40,000 odd people. But in doing so be unified with my brothers who to me mean nothing less than my real family.
